Enterprise Development Grant (EDG Grant)

The EDG grant in Singapore provides funding for almost 70% of your business venture costs, including third-party consultancy fees, operating systems and equipment, as well as costs of additional internal manpower. The business upgrade can be categorised under 3 pillars: strengthening the basis of your business such as in terms of strategic marketing planning, exploring areas to improve your business such as implementing business automation, or regional or global expansion plans.

The EDG grant in Singapore serves as an added boost for eligible businesses and companies to upgrade their businesses’ capabilities in 3 aspects:

Development of Core Capabilities

SMEs can grow their businesses and solidify their foundations with the EDG grant in Singapore. Core capabilities include corporate expansion, franchise development, and joint-ventures.

Innovation and Productivity

Companies can also enhance their productivity under this pillar. The EDG grant in Singapore encourages SMEs to explore creative solutions to boost their efficiency, including redeveloping workflows or adopting business automation and technology.

Market Access

Seeking overseas ventures are also supported under the EDG grant, where companies can enter overseas markets for expansion, including mergers and acquisitions.
